Nancy Kinder has served as a board member or officer for DePelchin Children’s Center since 1997. DePelchin Children’s Center is Houston’s largest, most comprehensive provider of children’s mental health, prevention and early intervention, and foster care and adoption services. The Kinder Foundation’s $3 million gift, along with hundreds of other donations, funded construction of the Kinder Program Services Building which opened in 2003. The welcoming, modern building is now the main campus for DePelchin Children’s Center and is home to some of the most important programs available to children and families in the Houston area.
